Describe your launch
What's coming, who it's for and roughly when. Cactal writes the page, sets up your waitlist form and publishes it.
How it works
1 Pick a design
Browse by what you're launching and open any design to see it full size.
2 Add your launch details
What's coming, when it arrives and what people get for signing up. Cactal writes the page and builds it from your design.
3 Publish
Ask for changes in plain words until it's right, then publish free on a Cactal domain, or on your own domain with Pro.
What a coming soon page needs
Say what's coming
One clear line about what you're launching and who it's for. A mystery with no detail gives people nothing to sign up for.
One signup field
An email box and a button are enough. Say what joining gets people, such as early access or first pick of tickets.
A date, or at least a season
Even a rough time tells people how long they'll wait. If the date might move, give a month or a season rather than a day.
A glimpse of the real thing
A product photo, an app screen, the venue or last year's crowd. Showing something real makes the launch feel close.
A thank-you that sets expectations
After someone signs up, say what happens next and how often you'll write. Then keep in touch, so the list still cares on launch day.
The same address at launch
Whether it's a teaser or a stand-in while the full site is under construction, launch on the address you've been sharing so every link keeps working.
Questions
Are these coming soon page templates free?
Every design here is free to start from. You can sign up, build and publish on a Cactal domain without a card and with no time limit. Putting your page on a domain you own is $25 a month on Pro, or $240 a year.
Do I need to know how to code or design?
No. Describe your launch in plain words and Cactal builds, edits and publishes the page. When you want a change, ask for it the same way.
How much does a coming soon page cost?
A custom build from a web designer often runs into the thousands of dollars and takes weeks. A builder template costs less, but you still write and fill in every page. With Cactal it's free to build and publish on a Cactal address, and your own domain is $25 a month on Pro, or $240 a year, with no setup fee.
Can I use my own domain?
Yes. Every site starts on a free Cactal address. Connect a domain you own on Pro for $25 a month, or $240 a year, and each additional website on its own domain is $20 a month.
Who owns the page?
You do. Every Cactal site is real React source code, so you can take it and run it anywhere. There is no export to buy.
Are these real brands and events?
No. Each design is an illustration made by Cactal, and the names, people, dates and photos in it are fictional. Your page is built around your own launch.
Can my coming soon page collect email signups?
Yes. Cactal sets up a signup form with spam filtering and email notifications. The free plan includes 50 form submissions per website each month, and Pro has no limit.
What happens to the page when I launch?
Keep the same site and ask Cactal to add the full pages, so your address and links stay the same. Publishing is versioned, so you can roll back if something isn't right.
