Describe your studio

The styles you tattoo, where you are and whether clients book or walk in. Cactal writes the pages, sets up your consultation form and publishes the site.

How it works

  1. 1 Pick a design

Browse by style or kind of studio and open any design to see it full size.

  2. 2 Add your studio's details

Your artists, styles, hours and the link to your booking tool. Cactal writes every page and builds the site from your design.

  3. 3 Publish

Ask for changes in plain words until it's right, then publish free on a Cactal domain, or on your own domain with Pro.

What a tattoo website needs

Healed work, sorted by style

People choose an artist by their portfolio. Show sharp photos of healed tattoos as well as fresh ones, sorted by style and by artist, and keep it current.

A page for each artist

A photo, the styles they do best, their portfolio and whether their books are open. Many clients come looking for one artist, not the shop.

Booking, walk-ins and deposits, made clear

Say whether you take walk-ins, how to book and how deposits and cancellations work. Keep the book button on every page and link it to the booking tool you already use.

A consultation form that asks the right questions

Ask for the idea, placement, size and budget, so each request arrives ready to quote. A few clear fields save a long back-and-forth.

Aftercare and policies, stated plainly

Post aftercare steps, your age and ID policy and what to bring on the day. Age and consent rules for tattoos and piercings vary by state, so check what yours requires.

Piercing with its own page

If you pierce, list the piercings you do, the jewelry you use, prices and healing times, with a photo of each piercer. Piercing clients ask different questions than tattoo clients.

Questions

Are these tattoo website templates free?

Every design here is free to start from. You can sign up, build and publish on a Cactal domain without a card and with no time limit. Putting your site on a domain you own is $25 a month on Pro, or $240 a year.

Do I need to know how to code or design?

No. Describe your studio in plain words and Cactal builds, edits and publishes the site. When you want a change, ask for it the same way.

How much does a tattoo website cost?

A custom build from a web designer often runs into the thousands of dollars and takes weeks. A builder template costs less, but you still write and fill in every page. With Cactal it's free to build and publish on a Cactal address, and your own domain is $25 a month on Pro, or $240 a year, with no setup fee.

Can I use my own domain?

Yes. Every site starts on a free Cactal address. Connect a domain you own on Pro for $25 a month, or $240 a year, and each additional website on its own domain is $20 a month.

Who owns the website?

You do. Every Cactal site is real React source code, so you can take it and run it anywhere. There is no export to buy.

Are these real tattoo shops?

No. Each design is an illustration made by Cactal, and the studio names, artists, tattoos, numbers and photos in it are fictional. Your site is built around your own studio.

Can clients book a tattoo on my site?

Cactal doesn't run booking or take deposits itself. Your site links to or embeds the booking tool you already use, and Cactal can set up a consultation form that emails you each request, with spam filtering.

Can I use it as a portfolio for my tattoo work?

Yes. Your site can show your healed work sorted by style or by artist, with your flash on its own page. When you have new photos, ask Cactal to add them.
