Describe your farm
What you grow or raise, where you sell and how customers should reach you. Cactal writes the pages, sets up your contact form and publishes the site.
How it works
1 Pick a design
Browse by type of farm and open any design to see it full size.
2 Add your farm's details
What you grow, your season, where customers can buy and how to reach you. Cactal writes every page and builds the site from your design.
3 Publish
Ask for changes in plain words until it's right, then publish free on a Cactal domain, or on your own domain with Pro.
What a farm website needs
What's in season now
A short list of what's ready this week, or a season calendar, answers the first question customers ask. Update it as crops come in and say when the season ends.
Where and when to buy
Farm stand hours, market days, pickup spots and delivery areas belong on one page. If you sell online, link to or embed the store you already use.
Your land, animals and methods
Real photos of your fields, herd and family show buyers who grows their food. Words like organic or grass-fed can carry certification and labeling rules, so check before you use them.
Shares, boxes and preorders explained
If you sell farm shares, meat boxes or holiday orders, spell out sizes, prices, pickup and deadlines before anyone commits.
Visits, tours and events
Pick-your-own days, tours, farm dinners and stays need dates, directions and what to expect. Link to the booking or ticketing tool you use for reservations.
A form for wholesale buyers
Restaurants, grocers and schools look for a wholesale page that lists what you can supply. A short inquiry form sends each request to your email, with spam filtered out.
Questions
Are these farm website templates free?
Every design here is free to start from. You can sign up, build and publish on a Cactal domain without a card and with no time limit. Putting your site on a domain you own is $25 a month on Pro, or $240 a year.
Do I need to know how to code or design?
No. Describe your farm in plain words and Cactal builds, edits and publishes the site. When you want a change, ask for it the same way.
How much does a farm website cost?
A custom build from a web designer often runs into the thousands of dollars and takes weeks. A builder template costs less, but you still write and fill in every page. With Cactal it's free to build and publish on a Cactal address, and your own domain is $25 a month on Pro, or $240 a year, with no setup fee.
Can I use my own domain?
Yes. Every site starts on a free Cactal address. Connect a domain you own on Pro for $25 a month, or $240 a year, and each additional website on its own domain is $20 a month.
Who owns the website?
You do. Every Cactal site is real React source code, so you can take it and run it anywhere. There is no export to buy.
Are these real farms?
No. Each design is an illustration made by Cactal, and the farm names, people, numbers and photos in it are fictional. Your site is built around your own farm.
Can I sell my products online?
Your site can link to or embed the online store or ordering tool you already use, so orders and payments go straight there. Cactal doesn't take orders or payments itself, but your pages can still list products and prices, with a contact form for questions.
Can I update what's in season myself?
Yes. Season lists, hours and product pages live in the built-in CMS, so you can change them yourself or ask Cactal in plain words, then publish.
