Describe your business

Who you help, the neighborhoods you cover and how clients should reach you. Cactal writes the pages, sets up your contact and home value forms and publishes the site.

How it works

  1. 1Pick a design

Browse by agent, team or specialty and open any design to see it full size.

  2. 2Add your details

Your neighborhoods, recent sales, team and how clients should reach you. Cactal writes every page and builds the site from your design.

  3. 3Publish

Ask for changes in plain words until it's right, then publish free on a Cactal domain, or on your own domain with Pro.

What a real estate website needs

The neighborhoods you know best

Name your towns in the headline and give each neighborhood its own page: what homes cost, what living there is like, what's selling. Buyers search by place, and these are the pages search engines match.

A real photo and a short bio

People choose an agent, not a logo. A recent photo, a few lines on how you work and the areas you cover give a stranger enough to call.

Listing search from the service you use

Buyers expect to browse homes for sale. Link to or embed the IDX search your brokerage or MLS already provides rather than retyping listings by hand.

A next step for buyers, sellers and owners

Buyers want to search and see a home, sellers want to know what theirs is worth, and landlords want to know what management costs. Give each one a clear button and a short form.

Your license and brokerage details

Many states require your brokerage name and license number on your website, and fair housing rules shape how you describe homes and neighborhoods. Check your state's rules before you publish.

Proof, kept current

Recent sales, reviews and short client stories show you can close. Date them and keep them fresh, because an old sales total makes a site look forgotten.

Questions

Are these real estate website templates free?

Every design here is free to start from. You can sign up, build and publish on a Cactal domain without a card and with no time limit. Putting your site on a domain you own is $25 a month on Pro.

Do I need to know how to code or design?

No. Describe your business in plain words and Cactal builds, edits and publishes the site. When you want a change, ask for it the same way.

How much does a realtor website cost?

A custom build from a real estate web agency often runs into the thousands of dollars and takes weeks. A builder template costs less, but you still write and fill in every page. With Cactal it's free to build and publish on a Cactal address, and your own domain is $25 a month on Pro, with no setup fee.

Can I use my own domain?

Yes. Every site starts on a free Cactal address. Connect a domain you own on Pro for $25 a month, and each additional website on its own domain is $20 a month.

Who owns the website?

You do. Every Cactal site is real React source code, so you can take it and run it anywhere. There is no export to buy.

Are these real agents and brokerages?

No. Each design is an illustration made by Cactal, and the agent names, people, homes, numbers and photos in it are fictional. Your site is built around your own business.

Can my site show my MLS listings?

Yes, through the service you already use. Cactal can link to or embed the IDX search your brokerage or MLS provides; it doesn't run a listings feed of its own. Featured and sold homes can also be written up as pages.

I manage rentals. Can tenants apply or pay through the site?

Your site can show your rentals and services and link to or embed the leasing, application or payment tool you already use. Cactal doesn't process applications, rent payments or tenant logins itself.
