Describe your remodeling company

The projects you take on, the towns you work in and how homeowners should reach you. Cactal writes the pages, sets up your consultation request form and publishes the site.

How it works

  1. 1 Pick a design

Browse by type of project and open any design to see it full size.

  2. 2 Add your company's details

Your services, past projects, service area, license number and how homeowners should reach you. Cactal writes every page and builds the site from your design.

  3. 3 Publish

Ask for changes in plain words until it's right, then publish free on a Cactal domain, or on your own domain with Pro.

What a home remodeling website needs

Photos of your own finished work

Homeowners choose a remodeler by looking at past projects. Show your own kitchens, baths and additions large, with before and after pairs and a line about what changed.

A page for each kind of project

Kitchens, bathrooms, basements, additions and whole-home remodels draw different buyers with different budgets. Give each its own page, which is also what search engines match to specific searches.

Your process, step by step

A remodel can take months and upend daily life. Walk through each stage, from the first visit and design to permits, construction and the final walkthrough, and say who the homeowner's main contact is.

How budgets and pricing work

Homeowners want to know whether their project fits your range before they call. Sharing typical budgets for common projects, and whether design is billed separately, saves both sides time.

License, insurance and warranty

Many states and cities require a contractor or home improvement license, and some want the number on your website and ads. Show it with your insurance and the warranty you give, and check your local rules.

A consultation request that asks the right things

The kind of project, the address, a rough budget and when they hope to start is enough to begin. Say how soon you reply and whether the first visit is free.

Questions

Are these home remodeling website templates free?

Every design here is free to start from. You can sign up, build and publish on a Cactal domain without a card and with no time limit. Putting your site on a domain you own is $25 a month on Pro, or $240 a year.

Do I need to know how to code or design?

No. Describe your remodeling company in plain words and Cactal builds, edits and publishes the site. When you want a change, ask for it the same way.

How much does a home remodeling website cost?

A custom build from a remodeling marketing agency often runs into the thousands of dollars and takes weeks. A builder template costs less, but you still write and fill in every page. With Cactal it's free to build and publish on a Cactal address, and your own domain is $25 a month on Pro, or $240 a year, with no setup fee.

Can I use my own domain?

Yes. Every site starts on a free Cactal address. Connect a domain you own on Pro for $25 a month, or $240 a year, and each additional website on its own domain is $20 a month.

Who owns the website?

You do. Every Cactal site is real React source code, so you can take it and run it anywhere. There is no export to buy.

Are these real remodeling companies?

No. Each design is an illustration made by Cactal, and the company names, people, numbers and photos in it are fictional. Your site is built around your own business.

Can I show before and after photos of my projects?

Yes. Ask for a project gallery with before and after pairs, and Cactal builds it around your own photos. Add each new project the same way, as a gallery entry or a post in the built-in CMS.

Can homeowners book a consultation on my site?

Cactal sets up a consultation request form that emails you each request with spam filtered out. If you schedule visits with a booking tool, your site can link to it or embed it; Cactal doesn't run its own booking calendar.
