Describe your music

What you play, where you're playing next and how fans and bookers should reach you. Cactal writes the pages, sets up your booking form and publishes the site.

How it works

  1. 1Pick a design

Browse by kind of act and open any design to see it full size.

  2. 2Add your details

Your bio, releases, show dates, videos and press photos. Cactal writes every page and builds the site from your design.

  3. 3Publish

Ask for changes in plain words until it's right, then publish free on a Cactal domain, or on your own domain with Pro.

What a musician website needs

Your music, one tap away

Put your latest release and your streaming links at the top of the homepage. Most visitors came to hear you, so don't make them hunt.

Show dates that stay current

List the date, city and venue for every show with a link to where tickets are sold, and take past dates down. A stale calendar makes an act look inactive.

Tickets and merch through the tools you use

Link to or embed the ticketing and merch stores you already sell through. The site's job is to get fans there in as few clicks as possible.

A press kit bookers can use

A short and a long bio, high-resolution photos, your tech needs and a booking contact. Venues and journalists want to grab them without emailing you first.

A way to stay in touch

Social platforms change their rules, but an email list is yours. Offer a signup on every page and say what fans will get.

Made for the link in your bio

Many fans arrive on a phone from a social profile. Keep the first screen simple, the buttons big and the pages quick to load.

Questions

Are these musician website templates free?

Every design here is free to start from. You can sign up, build and publish on a Cactal domain without a card and with no time limit. Putting your site on a domain you own is $25 a month on Pro.

Do I need to know how to code or design?

No. Describe your music in plain words and Cactal builds, edits and publishes the site. When you want a change, ask for it the same way.

Can this replace my link-in-bio page?

Yes. Several designs here are link pages: one screen with your latest release, show dates and links, sized for a phone. Put its address in your bio, and grow it into a full site when you need one.

Can I use my own domain?

Yes. Every site starts on a free Cactal address. Connect a domain you own on Pro for $25 a month, and each additional website on its own domain is $20 a month.

Who owns the website?

You do. Every Cactal site is real React source code, so you can take it and run it anywhere. There is no export to buy.

Are these real musicians?

No. Each design is an illustration made by Cactal, and the artist names, people, numbers and photos in it are fictional. Your site is built around your own music.

Can I sell tickets and merch on my site?

Cactal doesn't sell tickets or take payments itself. Your site can link to or embed the ticketing, merch and streaming services you already use, so fans get there in one click.

Can venues and bookers contact me through the site?

Yes. Cactal sets up a booking or contact form with spam filtering and email notifications, so inquiries land in your inbox. The free plan includes 50 form submissions per website per month, and Pro has no limit.
