Describe your speaking business

The talks you give, the audiences you speak to and how event planners should reach you. Cactal writes the pages, sets up your inquiry form and publishes the site.

How it works

Your talks, bio, speaker reel and how planners should reach you. Cactal writes every page and builds the site from your design.

  3. 3 Publish

Ask for changes in plain words until it's right, then publish free on a Cactal domain, or on your own domain with Pro.

What a speaker website needs

Your topic in one line

Event planners look for a topic and an audience. Say what you speak about and who it's for in the headline, so they know in seconds whether you fit their event.

Video of you on stage

Planners want to see how you hold a room before they book. Put a short reel or a keynote clip near the top, embedded from the video platform you already use.

A page for each talk

Give every keynote and workshop a title, a short description and what the audience leaves with. It helps planners match a talk to their event and pitch you to their team.

A bio planners can use

Keep a short bio, a long bio, approved headshots and an introduction an emcee can read aloud on one page, so planners don't have to ask for them.

Proof from past events

Quotes from event planners, photos of you on stage and the kinds of audiences you've spoken to. Ask before you name a client or show their logo.

A short inquiry form

Ask for the date, location, audience size and budget range. You can reply with an answer instead of a list of questions.

Questions

Are these speaker website templates free?

Every design here is free to start from. You can sign up, build and publish on a Cactal domain without a card and with no time limit. Putting your site on a domain you own is $25 a month on Pro, or $240 a year.

Do I need to know how to code or design?

No. Describe your speaking business in plain words and Cactal builds, edits and publishes the site. When you want a change, ask for it the same way.

How much does a speaker website cost?

A custom build from a web designer often runs into the thousands of dollars and takes weeks. A builder template costs less, but you still write and fill in every page. With Cactal it's free to build and publish on a Cactal address, and your own domain is $25 a month on Pro, or $240 a year, with no setup fee.

Can I use my own domain?

Yes. Every site starts on a free Cactal address. Connect a domain you own on Pro for $25 a month, or $240 a year, and each additional website on its own domain is $20 a month.

Who owns the website?

You do. Every Cactal site is real React source code, so you can take it and run it anywhere. There is no export to buy.

Are these real speakers?

No. Each design is an illustration made by Cactal, and the speaker names, faces, books, talks and photos in it are fictional. Your site is built around your own talks.

Can event planners book me through my site?

Your site can collect speaking requests through an inquiry form, with spam filtered out and an email to you for each one. Cactal doesn't handle contracts, fees or calendars itself, so link to the scheduling tool you already use if you want planners to pick a call time.

Can I add my speaker reel and my book?

Yes. Your site can embed your reel and keynote clips from the video platform you already post on, and give your book its own page. Cactal doesn't sell books itself, so link to the stores that do.
