Describe your tutoring business
The subjects you teach, the grades you work with and how families should reach you. Cactal writes the pages, sets up your inquiry form and publishes the site.
How it works
1 Pick a design
Browse by what you teach and open any design to see it full size.
2 Add your details
Your subjects, grades, rates and how families should reach you. Cactal writes every page and builds the site from your design.
3 Publish
Ask for changes in plain words until it's right, then publish free on a Cactal domain, or on your own domain with Pro.
What a tutoring website needs
Subjects and grades up front
Parents look for help with something specific, like algebra, reading or a college entrance exam. Name your subjects, grade levels and whether you teach online or in person in the headline.
Who will teach their child
Families are trusting you with their child's time. Show each tutor's photo and background, explain how you match students, and mention background checks if you run them.
Rates, or where they start
Say what a session costs or where packages start. It saves a call for families whose budget doesn't fit and reassures the ones whose budget does.
Results told honestly
Grade and score gains persuade, but say how you measured them and keep to claims you can back up. A parent's words about their child's confidence often say as much.
A short request form
Ask for the student's grade, the subject and the best time to talk. It gives you what you need to reply with a plan instead of more questions.
Care with students' privacy
Get a parent's permission before you show a student's name, photo or results, and share only what you need. Rules for children's information vary by place.
Questions
Are these tutoring website templates free?
Every design here is free to start from. You can sign up, build and publish on a Cactal domain without a card and with no time limit. Putting your site on a domain you own is $25 a month on Pro, or $240 a year.
Do I need to know how to code or design?
No. Describe your tutoring business in plain words and Cactal builds, edits and publishes the site. When you want a change, ask for it the same way.
How much does a tutoring website cost?
A custom build from a web designer often runs into the thousands of dollars and takes weeks. A builder template costs less, but you still write and fill in every page. With Cactal it's free to build and publish on a Cactal address, and your own domain is $25 a month on Pro, or $240 a year, with no setup fee.
Can I use my own domain?
Yes. Every site starts on a free Cactal address. Connect a domain you own on Pro for $25 a month, or $240 a year, and each additional website on its own domain is $20 a month.
Who owns the website?
You do. Every Cactal site is real React source code, so you can take it and run it anywhere. There is no export to buy.
Are these real tutors?
No. Each design is an illustration made by Cactal, and the tutor and company names, people, results and photos in it are fictional. Your site is built around your own tutoring business.
Can parents book and pay for sessions on my site?
Your site can collect requests through an inquiry form, with spam filtered out and an email to you for each one. Cactal doesn't handle scheduling or payments itself, so link to or embed the booking and payment tools you already use.
Can students or parents log in to my site?
No. Cactal sites don't include logins. If you share homework, notes or progress reports through a learning platform, link to it from your menu, as several of these designs do.
